Reading Caravans, part of the Swindon Caravans and Motorhomes Group have been expanding rapidly and required additional workshop capacity. Their new workshop had to be flexible enough to undertake a wide variety of repairs, maintenance and preparation of new and used caravans and motorhomes.
F&L Temporary Buildings provided a full turnkey service to design, manufacture and install the workshop. After a series of site consultations, a durable aluminium frame workshop building featuring industrial steel cladding was designed by our in-house team.
The new building was installed in just 3 days onto a concrete pad. The concreate pad featured bespoke drainage channels to enable the workshop to also be used for valeting, providing flexibility for the client. A steel cladded gable triangle was specified to provide an aesthetically pleasing finish, in keeping with surrounding structures.
A large electric roller shutter door and two pedestrian doors were specified with emergency release bars internally. The building features a bespoke internal and external lighting array (installed by the client post-completion) with a full electrical installation.
