We were contacted to help a leading workplace equipment and PPE supplier with additional warehouse capacity due to their continued growth and expansion. The client required a robust temporary warehouse solution to provide around 350m2 or 4,000 sq. ft. of storage space on their large site.
We worked collaboratively with the client to develop a number of design and specification options for their warehouse requirements. This included advising the client on fit out options for bespoke warehouse racking.
We installed the warehouse onto an existing concrete pad. The installation was fast and efficient as no wet trades were involved. Our in-house team completed the installation in just five days. Due to the efficient installation process, there was zero downtime and business operations were not disrupted.
The large leg height (6m) allowed the client to maximise internal volume. The racking layout and space within the structure also allows for forklift movement to facilitate loading and unloading with ease. The anti-condensation membrane provides additional protection to stored products. A large manually operated sliding door and a pedestrian door was specified with emergency release bars internally to the pedestrian doors.
