A leading manufacturer approached us with an urgent need for additional temperature-controlled storage space to house a sensitive product line. The new product delivery date was fixed, and delays were not an option. The client required an expansive, high-performance building, suitable for FLT access at the front, with sufficient space for pallet and truck movement inside the structure.
The temporary warehouse building had to be installed immediately adjacent to their main facility, running parallel with a gully drain. Width was restricted by site boundaries. The installation area was surrounded by operational roadways and service routes that could not be blocked. The installation had to be completed within a tight timeline to meet the delivery date of new product stock.
After reviewing the site, our engineering team redesigned the building footprint from the proposed 15m x 40m to a more efficient 13m x 45m structure. This allowed the building to sit neatly alongside the gully without impacting drainage or traffic flow around the building whilst providing a similar amount of floor space.
We used a fully insulated panel system, including an insulated roof to ensure temperature stability and prevent condensation build-up, a critical factor given the moisture-sensitive nature of the stored product.
The structure was installed with minimal groundworks, utilising the existing surface and drainage system to save time and avoid unnecessary civil works and expensive foundations. The structure was installed by our own in-house building installation team within 8 days and secured using resin bolts.

From the initial enquiry, we were able to support the client with a rapid 24 hour feasibility assessment and budget price. Following this, we attended site to compete a detailed consultation to further develop the design and installation methodology.
The client’s operations continued uninterrupted throughout the installation with the building completed on time for the stock delivery. The structure has provided 585m² of high-quality, secure, insulated storage space on their existing site.
