We were approached by a piling and construction company who needed a bespoke and highly flexible industrial equipment storage building for plant. The building needed to be substantial in size, to meet the operational demands of the construction sector. While providing the flexibility to both store and maintain equipment and building materials, doubling as a workshop. The height and internal clearance of the structure was particularly important to allow for easy access and storage of large machinery and construction materials.
F&L Temporary Buildings provided a complete solution including, design, manufacture and installation of the building. After a series of site consultations, we developed the design collaboratively with the client working through three design revisions. This process provided a building that met all requirements and worked within the client’s budget.
The storage building was installed onto an existing concrete pad and took our team just four days to complete the entire installation. The process was fast and disruption free.
Importantly, the industrial equipment storage building provides ridge height of 8.82m allowing plenty of internal clearance. This was achieved by specifying raised bracing within the clearspan structure.

The new storage building provides 144 m2 of floor storge space or around 1,500 sq. ft. The building has significantly improved operational efficiency for the business.
