The client, a leading workplace equipment and PPE supplier faced logistical challenges during their loading and unloading operations caused by weather and an increase in the volume of deliveries they were sending and receiving. This left stock exposed and at risk of damage. They need a flexible industrial canopy system to protect stock and staff.
To address these challenges, we worked collaboratively with the client to provide a custom-designed industrial canopy.
The design was engineered to provide unobstructed space for FLT movement and material laydown and storage. Instantly delivering 150m2 or 1,600sq. ft. of flexible covered space.
The solution offers robust weather protection to protect stock and staff, giving shelter from rain and snow, together with shade from the sun during summer. Ultimately, minimising the potential for product damage and improving overall operational efficiency.
The canopy was installed onto an existing concrete pad, directly adjacent to their warehouse and took our in-house team just three days to complete. Due to the aluminium frame, there was no need for complex and expensive foundations, saving time and cost. There was no downtime or disruption to their daily operations as a result of the efficient installation.
